SALE OF DIPOSABLE STORES AND EQUIPMENT
Kenya Forest Service (KFS) is a State corporation established by the Forest Act 2005 to provide for the establishment, development and sustainable management including conservation and rational utilization of forest resources for the social economic development of the country.
Kenya Forest Service invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates for the disposal of items:
KFS/DISP/1/2016 – 2017 SALE OF DIPOSABLE STORES AND EQUIPMENT-OPEN
CLOSING DATE: Friday, 8th April 2017 at 12 noon
Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information from and inspect the tender documents at the Supply Chain Management Department at KFS headquarters, Karura off Kiambu Road, P.O. Box 30513-00100, Tel 020-2397660/020-8023042 Nairobi during normal working hours.
Complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000 in cash or bankers cheque payable to the Director, Kenya Forest Service. The documents can also be downloaded from the KFS website www.kenyaforestservice.org or from the IFMIS suppliers portal; supplier.treasury.go.ke free of charge. Those who download the tender documents and intend to submit a bid are required to submit their particulars to the Supply Chain Department’s Office for records and for the purpose of receiving any further tender clarifications and/or addendums. Tenderers will be required to pay in advance a refundable deposit as indicated in the Appendix to Instructions to tenderers.
Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with the tender number and name and be deposited in the Tender Box at Kenya Forest Service Headquarters, Reception area or to be addressed to the Director, Kenya Forest Service P.O. Box 30513-00100 Nairobi so as to be received before the indicated dates and time for each tender.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the candidates representatives who choose to attend at Kenya Forest Service Headquarters located in Karura, off Kiambu road. All bidders must serialize the pages of each document.
